In an era where cast to catch is so crucial, us anglers continue to try more and more ways to capture the perfect shot. There are so many mounts to choose from but to me there aren't many that are really worth your time. Gopro offers their own line of mounts as well as other action camera brands but they leave a lot to be desired. I personally have tried dozens of different mounts and almost all end up in the compartment due to various complaints. The most important aspect to a mount is how rigid it is. Nobody wants shaky footage and you never want to turn around to see your camera mount sagging from its original position. That tends to be the issue with most of the options out there. That is until I came across the Taddo Designs Custom Action Mount. This thing is everything I could have ever asked for in a camera mount. The mounting kit was well thought out. It comes with everything you need to set it up including a rad sticker template so you know exactly where to drill. The only thing that you'll need is a drill which most of us have but if you don't I'm sure there's an accessible tool box you can rummage through to find one. I got the 8 inch by 3 inch mount because I prefer my camera angle to be a little bit higher. The mounting pole is adjustable giving you a few options to chose from in specific heights. I have put this mount through the ringer with zero complaints. This mount can handle rough water and boat wakes with ease which is something you rarely get out of other mounts. With prior mounts, it became second nature to have to readjust them once I arrived at each spot. The price is relatively inexpensive for the quality ($125 retail) and you certainly get what you pay for.
